Mid August dump. Been working a decent amount. S Mid August dump. Been working a decent amount. Squeezed in some gravel adventures and almost deleted my leg via a stump on the big bike. Yoshi got his eye removed due to a large ulcer as well as a few other abnormalities. He’s thriving. The VW broke down in lake cowichan and I didn’t want to pay for a tow so brought a trailer. We’re heading into intramural soccer playoffs in first place next week. Excited to start riding my bike a bit more in prep for my final two (maybe 3) events of the year. Can you guess what they are?

Stoked to rally 2nd in GC and timed DH. Hands are blown out. @quintondisera with consistency on ups and downs taking the win @rob_britton in third with the horsepower to put us to shame ~9600m of descending including pre-ride / warmup in the past 7 days. BCBR DONE! What a week Thank you to everyone inv BCBR DONE! What a week Thank you to everyone involved making this a memorable week. The great trails on Vancouver Island delivered. Couldn’t quite hold onto my 5 second gap for 3rd on the last day. Finishing 4th, not bad for off the couch prep. More crazy was the @ridefoxbike timed DH, almost pulled the 9 second deficit back on the last day. @max_mcculloch got me by 0.6 seconds after 7 stages! Crazy!
