Honestly I don’t know if he even needed us to win, but we set him up and he claimed it with conviction. Nationals was disappointing for me on many fronts but the team won some jerseys and the satisfaction from setting up Q made up for it. A tough day at World Champs this year. This sport A tough day at World Champs this year. This sport is brutal and so was Val di Sole. During the race I transitioned through fired up, engaged racing to optimism and perseverance to grit and determination and then finally settled on nothing shy of pure survival. It was quite a day. Not happy, no where close to where I can, should and will be again, but I’m proud of the fight and effort. Next up is Lenzerheide, SUI then we go back across the pond!
